STONAVA – A brand new Škoda Fabia car has been standing in front of the “North” Mining Plant of the ČSM Mine since the first day of September. The sign affixed to the car speaks clearly: “A car to be obtained for an idea? Why not!”. Yes, it is exactly this vehicle that is a special main award for a drawn employee of OKD and contractors engaged in the Continuous Improvement (CI) Project.
“It represents our supports for continuous improvement. In order for everybody to see with his or her own eyes that we are serious about it. A small meaningful idea or suggestion may be sufficient in order for a person to obtain the Gift Voucher for Škoda Fabia car at CZK 200,000. It is an issue of motivation,” Ivan Brodský, Consultant for the Head of Mining Inspection, OKD headquarters, explained the issue.
And why is the Škoda Fabia car displayed just at the Stonava Mine? “We have been granted the privilege to be the first one because we have come up with the best slogan, which is now placed on the car and which will accompany the car during the whole period. We and our colleagues from all the BUs voted on this issue and our proposal has won,” said Petr Skyva, Head of CI at the ČSM Mine.
When and where the Škoda Fabia car will be displayed:
