OKD website offers new advanced features
OSTRAVA – The OKD website underwent modernisation and offer new features to its readers. Given the growing number of persons browsing the Internet via mobile phones, the company decided to prepare a mobile version that works on all phones with a web browser.
If, on the OKD website, anyone finds an article or a piece of information that might be of interest to colleagues and friends, they may recommend and send them by e-mail along with a comment. The site can now be saved in the PDF format, printed, sent by e-mail or saved for later use. Information retrieval is also easier. The so-called “autocomplete“ feature will automatically display words that were most frequently displayed by previous users based on the initial letters that are entered. RSS feed allows convenient collection of news and an up-to-date overview of the developments in the OKD.

Its upgrading aimed at increased user convenience shows that we take this area really seriously and that OKD is a modern company with everything that this entails,“ says Petra Mašínová, Chief Public Relations & Communication Officer.

Company code of ethics
The Board of Directors of OKD has adopted a Company code of ethics that is obligatory for all the employees of the firm. It defines basic values and attitudes to enterprise that OKD conforms to in the course of its business activities.
The code of ethics is not any binding rule of law or internal directive, it represents, however, a moral obligation for each employee of OKD.
