More than 12.5 million CZK for Transport
STAŘÍČ - Three monorail locomotives, three tractors for head equipment, thirty containers for minor items. This will increase the production and improve the productivity at Staříč plant of Paskov Mine.
“Last year we installed additional thirteen kilometres of the track for ZD 24 monorail transport and currently we use more than twenty-three kilometres long route of this type,” informed Tadeusz Pieczka, Technical Director. The investment in this modernization in 2007 exceeded CZK 12.5 M. A depot for monorail and other locomotives at floor No. 5 will be finished in a short time. It will meet all the strict requirements.

Company code of ethics
The Board of Directors of OKD has adopted a Company code of ethics that is obligatory for all the employees of the firm. It defines basic values and attitudes to enterprise that OKD conforms to in the course of its business activities.
The code of ethics is not any binding rule of law or internal directive, it represents, however, a moral obligation for each employee of OKD.
