STAŘÍČ – The jubilee tenth standard performance task in the Paskov Mine has been completed by the working party headed by Petr Plaček from Section P3 of Robert Duchoň, the leader. This year, the preparators have celebrated such success for the second time! It was completed on Friday, 30 May, and in order to confirm their reputation of hard workers and great miners, already on Monday, 2 June, they declared another “standard” and are hammering away at it.
“Why not to launch into it - we come here to earn money, don’t we?! We help both the mine and us,“ said the senior foreman, whose name is repeated most frequently in connection with the “standards” in the Staříč mine. The “standards” have been declared there since 2005 and apart from the guys from Plaček’s working party, no one else has achieved more standards. And it is necessary to take into account the fact that four basic sections are in progress of preparation and the same number of contractors is involved there.
“The fact that such standards are not declared by others so often is their business. We accept it as an offer and motivation. It is true that there may not always be ideal conditions,“ continued Plaček, leading the 24-member working party. With this working party, he has achieved the last standard performance in the future coalface mining roadway on Working 041 5250/1 between Sections IV and V.
A great asset for Plaček’s party was then a new boast of the Staříč mine – namely, Hanging Groove ZD 24. “If it goes as far as the forefield, it is fine! The transport times have shortened, and they bring us more quantity,“ stated the senior foreman. In the past, they had to bother with winches and had to pick up the reserves up to three times a day. Now they bring it to them once and the quantity is at least twice as big.
