Paskov Mine: In May without injuries
There are matters which do not need any longer commentaries, and the poster in the entrance hall of the Paskov Mine definitely ranks among them. Its content summarizes everything – in May, nobody has incurred any injury at work in this mine. Staříč Plant continues its trend to improve safety records and minimize the number of injuries. For that matter, they have recently won the Golden Permon Award, and in the given field, they have been the best among twelve contesting Czech mines. We have no choice but to wish that it lasts as long as possible!
The coal reserves are estimated to last for at least 200 to 300 years, while in the case of oil it is mere 40 to 50 years, and in the case of uranium it is roughly a century. more »

Company code of ethics
The Board of Directors of OKD has adopted a Company code of ethics that is obligatory for all the employees of the firm. It defines basic values and attitudes to enterprise that OKD conforms to in the course of its business activities.
The code of ethics is not any binding rule of law or internal directive, it represents, however, a moral obligation for each employee of OKD.
