Production in January? An excellent start!

The plan was exceeded in the first month of this year nearly by 12 per cent.

Significant exceeding the production plan within the whole company, three the best results and preparation for first investments under the POP 2010 project; this is the characteristic of the first month of the new year. 1.236 millions tons of coal was the total production in OKD mines, it means 129 740 tons above the given plan.  January results prepared for OKD a good starting position for fulfilling annual results of the company.

„These results were based on good work already in last months of the last year. In January the different mines followed up their outputs and even improved them. But behind the success one must see namely a large effort and good work of all miners and other workers in underground VOJs,“ mentioned the production manager Mr. Leo Bayer.

Darkov Mine

Very good results reached in Darkov Mine, where the production was 420,000 tons of coal and they exceeded the plan nearly by one fifth.  „By the production over 327 ths. tons of coal they reached in the mine plant 3 the highest monthly production in its history,“ added the production manager.

ČSA Mine

Also in ČSA Mine they grown-up, there they recorded the highest monthly production since 2000. More than 306 000 tons of coal was their total production there, i.e. by 26 500 tons above the business plan.

ČSM Mine 

Record monthly production was also scored in January in ČSM Mine, where the highest production in the history of mine was reached, and this was 285 000 tons. The result is much more valuable because both mine plants shared in it.

Lazy Mine

The given plan was also successfully exceeded in Lazy Mine and with production of 142 000 tons they contributed to total successful results of the company. 

Paskov Mine

Only Paskov Mine scored in January in minus, namely because of complicated mining-geological conditions. But they do not resign in the mine and they adopt and already execute technical-organization measures for improving this situation.

Pleasure from these excellent production results would be much higher if the similar result were reached also in the field of safety.
