LAZY – In the Lazy Mining Plant of Karviná Mine, the new mining machine set, purchased within the POP 2010 Project, has proven satisfactory. It has replaced an obsolete plough and individual support props. The mining machine set significantly facilitates everyday miner’s work and improves working conditions.
“The new mining machine set is based on DBT 06/14 support and RHH-42 plough equipment,“ said Milan Čech, Mining Crew Foreman. “After some problems in the launching phase, I can just confirm what I have indicated before. The mining machine set significantly facilities everyday miner’s work and improves working conditions. We have also checked that this technology requires the professional ploughing management method and we gradually learn what can be accomplished with it,” he added.
However, he opposes being praised for launching the new machine set alone. “ I guess not only the foreman should be talked about, but all the 115 miners of the working party should be mentioned. Every application of new technology brings along certain specifics. It is necessary to get acquainted with and test it in practice. The main job must be done by ordinary miners because it is them who do the most important work – they mine coal!“ emphasized Milan Čech, and he pointed out at least the names of the Shift Foremen: Zdeněk Cicák, Zdeněk Káňa, Rudolf Kubeš, Jiří Marek and Miroslav Pokorný.
