Part of the mining celebration is also bringing the flowers to commemorative plates in Staříč and Chlebovice and rewarding the best employees of the coalmine.

Celebration is free of charge, as usual, but visitors can contribute to a good cause. "At the entrance will be Civic Association moneybox of St. Barbara, in which people can put some money. Mine workers in Paskov donated a lot of money in recent years, even more than we expected," explained Milena Malinska, event organizer, the course and meaning of charity.

Paskov coalmine is well known for its high quality of coking coal, employs approximately 3,000 people. OKD invested to modern mining technology for this shaft during the past three years, completely replaced safety equipment for workers. These investments enabled the long-term efficiency of production and contributed to a significant reduction of injuries.
