Company code of ethics
The Board of Directors of OKD has adopted a Company code of ethics that is obligatory for all the employees of the firm. It defines basic values and attitudes to enterprise that OKD conforms to in the course of its business activities.
The code of ethics is not any binding rule of law or internal directive, it represents, however, a moral obligation for each employee of OKD.

Colours of Ostrava
The international festival of world music Colours of Ostrava promotes ethnic, traditional and indigenous culture of individual nations. OKD is the festival’s main partner. Since 2002 hundreds of significant figures of the world music scene have played at it. The continually increasing quality of the festival is evidenced by the fact that in 2005 and 2006 it was awarded the “Angel” prize for the music event of the year. The sixth annual rendition in 2007 was attended by more than 20,000 people, who could listen to and admire such stars as for example Goran Bregovic and his Balkan band, the well-known Gipsy Kings or the American Marianne Faithful.
