OSTRAVA - Half a billion Czech crowns for replacement of personal protective equipment. This is a programme launched by OKD at the beginning of the year. Hard hats now being marked with reflective numbers at CSA Mine
KARVINÁ – Red-colored for technicians, blue-colored for „rank-and-file“. This is the markings being applied onto miners' hard hats at CSA Works of Karviná Mine since August. Each and every one will receive a reflecting sticker with the miner's name tag number. Quite a novelty in the OKD mining district! Pending practical experience the same will be done for their colleagues at Lazy Mine.... more
