OKD has a new Chief Human Resources Officer, Mrs. Trgiňová wants to restore prestige to the mining industry

OSTRAVA (2nd April 2008) – RNDr. Miloslava Trgiňová (47) has become the Chief Human Resources Officer of OKD; she is also the Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Chief Finance Officer of the company. She joined OKD last year coming from Sun Microsystems where she was working as the Central Europe and Austria Manager and the manager of a specialized division for Central and Eastern Europe, Near East and Africa.

One of the key goals of the new CHRO is to restore the prestige and good reputation to the mining profession. “Working for OKD is demanding, but also interesting, promising and bringing along many social securities. I therefore believe that our HR policy will also be interesting for the young generation. OKD becomes a modern company and needs people who can deal with new technologies. We want to address young people at schools and assist them in their future education,” said Mrs. Trgiňová.

Miloslava Trgiňová spends her leisure time with her adult son and her partner. Her hobbies include skiing, mountain biking as well as tasting and cooking dishes of international cuisine.
