Company code of ethics
The Board of Directors of OKD has adopted a Company code of ethics that is obligatory for all the employees of the firm. It defines basic values and attitudes to enterprise that OKD conforms to in the course of its business activities.
The code of ethics is not any binding rule of law or internal directive, it represents, however, a moral obligation for each employee of OKD.

KARVINÁ (31st August 2010) – A show which Karviná has not seen for a long time. There will be three stages where the music stars led by Jiří Korn and Helena Vondráčková will sing and characters close to children´s hearts will play in the Magical Nursery of Michal Nesvadba. At the square and in Božena Němcová´s Park dozens of projects supported by the OKD Foundation will be presented and Barborka will organise the “Best Cake” competition. There will be a lot to eat and drink. This is part of the OKD Mining Festival in September which is now in preparation and focuses on miners, their families and friends and residents of the Karviná region in general.... more
DARKOV – Hot days on the surface, as well as in the mine, were experienced by the Mining Technical Service personnel in the Darkov Mine. It was just in the greatest heat of July when they were finishing two great relocations of the mining equipment, acquired under the POP 2010 Program – one relocation was carried out without any disassembly, and the other one with disassembly.... more
OSTRAVA/BRIGHTON – For someone, it may be just bothering, but for someone else, it is a welcomed opportunity for improving his or her education. One way or another, the language traineeships have become a permanent part of the St. Barbara Civil Association’s work. The organization, which helps children from miners’ families who have lost their father due to a work injury, sends a few of its protégés to such courses every year.... more
